OUR MISSION.

MCC (Muslim Community Center) for Human Services based in Richland Hills, Texas, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 1999 with a mission to build strong families and harmonious communities, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or place of residence.

We do this by providing free or low-cost health care, social services, and educational programs for those experiencing barriers due to language, cultural differences, or health insurance issues.

Our focus is primary health care, mental health care, and social services. We offer outreach, parenting and relationship education, and counseling for various issues, including domestic violence. We also have volunteer translation services available, and we provide multicultural awareness education seminars virtually and, when possible, in person.

Executive Director’s Report

March 31st, 2026

During the month of March, significant progress was achieved as I assumed responsibility prior to my official appointment date. The volume of inbound calls increased from 372 to 500, reflecting greater engagement with our services. Additionally, both the number of medical clinics and the number of patients seen at our clinic grew by 10%. Looking ahead to April, we anticipate adding two more clinic days, further expanding our capacity to care for more members of our community.

We have also seen a nearly doubling of Social Service Calls compared to previous months. We are optimistic that this upward trend in engagement and involvement will persist throughout the 2026 calendar year.

We are deeply grateful for the generous support and dedication of our volunteer physicians who selflessly serve our nonprofit organization. Their commitment, compassion, and expertise are essential to our mission and the communities we support. We are thankful to:
Dr. Quddoos, Dr. Ayesha Basheer, Dr. Munazza Sethi, Dr. Shabina Afridi, Dr. Hussain Haideri, Dr. Ibraheem Abbas, Dr. Farhan Rafi, Dr. Mohsin Soleja, Dr. Sarah Ahmed, Dr. Basit Ali, Dr. Munis, Dr. Ali Moustapha, Dr. Mohammed Khan, Dr. Iqbal Mughal, Dr. Zohra Khan, Dr. Saba Shabnum, Dr. Asia Janjua.

I am very thankful Dr. Adeela Malik for her diligent and heartfelt dedication to our cause while seamlessly managing the facility. Now she will be embarking on the marketing the Clinic to spread awareness and educate the community of our available medical services.
