Talaun Thompson LMSW, Program Director Ms. Talaun S. Thompson is the Program Director of MCC and has worked in the social services field for over 6 years. Ms. Thompson has a Bachelors degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Social Work (LMSW) from the University of Texas at Arlington . Ms. Thompson is currently completing her dissertation for her Doctorate in Psychology. As a Louis Stokes scholar, she researched interpersonal and cross-cultural perceptions; and in 2002 and 2003, was awarded a fellowship and studied in Ghana , West Africa .
Lubna Khurshid MSW, Assistant Program DirectorObtained a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Government College, Multan - Pakistan and Masters in Social Work from University of Texas at Arlington.Shwe taught in High School and Federal College for Women in Peshawar and Multan - Pakistan for seven years prior to coming to United States. She worked as a Social Worker Treatment Coordinator at VA Medical Center, Dallas - Texas and a Service Coordinator in Mental Health and Mental Retardation of Tarrant County. She has been working as Assistant Program Director for MCC for Human Services since August 2008. Her primary responsibility includes counseling victims of Domestic Violence and Parent Child Issues.
Nuha Almakhzoumi BS, Outreach CoordinatorEducation 1-family violence recognition and response united way Out reach Coordinator, MCC for Human Services 2007 – Present Naureen Raza B.A., Clinic ManagerObtained a Bachelors degree from Punjab University, Lahore - Pakistan in Journalism and Associate Degree in Computer Support Systems from Tarrant County Junior College. She worked in Tarrant Dialysis Center as Unit Sectary and has been working as an Office Manager at Al-Shifa Clinic, MCC for Human Services since January 2007.
